Thumping noise

I can hear a thumping noise that was is coming
from the drivers side of my car. Sounds kinda like a
flat tire.  Car is running fine but I am concerned.

Have you checked your tires for uneven tread wear, bulge on the backside tire wall, and lug nuts are tight?

No. I checked the tires to c if they were low but they seem fine. I had new tires put on back in August. My struts are bad but don’t want to fix them cuz Im getting rid of this car this fall. Already sank enough money into it as it is.

Should I just take it in to my mechanic so he can check these issues for me. Again I don’t want to sink any more money into this car but I’m not michanically smart. As a woman i sometimes feel stupid when it comes to these issues.
