why does my car have the sound of a diesel when it idles when the car runs on only gasoline?
when the cars engine is warm at normal operating temperature it sounds like a diesel when it idles but only when th eengine is warm!

I have a 94 cavalier rs 2.2 and when i start my car it idles really rough and the car will shake and yu can smell gas. It goes away when i drive away or push the accelerator.
