does this v6 model use a ford ranger engine?

I heard rumors about that. Is it true?

I looked all over the internet and could find nothing to either confirm of deny that the Mustang has a ranger engine. The specs are a tiny bit different but not different enough to rule out that it's the same engine. If you find the answer please let me know. I'll be thinking about this one for a while.

Its shared with the ranger and explorer but a composite intake system was designed for use in the mustang. It's also equipped with a new tuned-length exhaust manifolds, flywheel, and oil pan with a few other different things.
