is it like when you shut the car off and your parked? cause you know not to be a smart ass or anything but if you open the door and the key is still in the ignition then it will beep.

Bring it to a Ford dealer and if they dont find anything then take a video cam when you drive and if it goes off record it and take it back to Ford. They should fix your problem.

Is this a factory alarm or aftermarket? Some mustangs in that year have a factory alarm withmotion sensors do you have somthing in side your car that can move ie hanging fron the rear view? Also if this is a factory alarm Ford can scan your car and detrmine the last alarm events and what caused them. It will say somting like drivers door ajar pass door ajar motion sensor. If you have a faulty door ajar switch aor keyless entrypad this will cause the factory alarm to go off. Also in the owners manual you may be able to not arm the factory alarm. Somtimes this can be achieved by locking the doors with the switch as opposed to the key fob. Hope this is some help good luck and let me know how it goes

You may have a faulty ignition switch. This can be challenging to replace, but it may offer a solution to your problem. 90s Grand Ams are having a horrible with faulty ignition switches.

hey thanks for your reply quite helpful yes it is the factory alarm i think it has a few extra ford adds like motion sensor and the balance thing... but i am sure the motion thing you mentioned like hanging stuff its not the cause and i am not sure about the balance stuff because it triggered like 7 months ago and that time i parked on an uphill thing and now it happened again. i am aware that there is the anti tow lock thing i am not sure if it has it. i have a question about the ford scan do you mean the car's search thing where it says engine oil check and trunk check ... or do you mean at a ford garage ??? would you happen to know about how much it would cost to take it to the garage? fyi the car was bought in mexico but now i am living in the US so i dont know if they would take it for warranty... thanks again :)

It sounds like a lose wire or a weak battery. Cat and rats small animal that are looking for heat could set the alarm off to

either when you have the door open and the key is in the ignition something starts bleeping or there is a built in alarm clock in the radio; if so, try turn it off

I have an 06 Mustang that had alarm problems. It turned out to be the hood ajar switch. At one time the alarm was going off every few hours. I could lessen this quite a bit by opening and closing the hood. Ford installed a new hood ajar switch - problem gone.

Have 99 v6 recently changed the rear light bulbs all eight. Afterward ive been getting a beeping as if a keyless entry is being triggerd...havnt had one for the car in almost a year now. The car is rapidly beeping as if fingering the buttons on the keyless. Currently have the battery disconnected as its drained my battery twice now, could it possibly be the anti theft or maybe a short in the wiring? Which is more likely?

my alarm kept on going off in the driveway so I put it in the backyard and it stopped but I put it back in the driveway took off the antenna it hasn't gone off in the last 2 days and I still get the radio to work
