Changing to another engine...especially a non-GM engine is a major modification. You should seriously consider the 3800 V6 Supercharged engine they put in the Regal GS, PS Ultra, Riviera, Pontiac GTX, Pontiac Bonneville SSEI, and others..... It thinks it is a V8 and there are some good Pontiac sites that deal with making it faster. If you switch, get the transmission that goes with it as it is beefed up for the extra HP

i have a 78 buick regal limited and wanting to know if i could put in a 457 motor in it.
