engine over heat coming on even after new radiator andthermostat

What's the real temperature? Our gauges are useless, hook a scanner up and see what the real temp is. If temp is normal, replace the temp sensor. If it's hot, could be air in the system, or waterpump. Grab a hold of the fan and try wiggling it, should be tight. If loose or a wobbly, replace waterpump. Thermostat only goes one way on our platform, so can't go in backwards.
