I have a 97 30th anniversary Z28 and was wondering if there was any way to do any mods that you can do yourself at home without spending money?

throttle body bypass. you have a coolant line in and out off the throttle body. disconnect them from the throttle body and connect them together. this will keep the air from being heated before it enters the motor.

research online there are a ton like this. colder air = more power. by doing this it wont heat the air up as it goes into the engine. nothing will be like h/c swap but free is always nice. LT1's are considered a underdog but have a lot to offer. If you have the funds a 383 with a whipple is nice. And yes before someone comments you can put a whipple on without modifying the cowl or hood. a guy designed a intake for this. just do a little research on line.
