I store my 97 each winter. I think I may have a water pump leak. Is this common when storing a low mileage camaro. 30,000 miles.

The leak seems to be on the right side near the right front tire. I really want other opinions before I spend the $700+ for a new water pump.

Hello redz-- Before you go spending the money on that water pump try to locate the source of the leak. Dry everything off as much as possible and then see where the leak reappears. Maybe you will find the moisture coming from a hose. This should be a fairly easy diagnostic procedure. Let me know how you do. Good luck from Bovan.

hey john i have an 82 camaro that i put a 350 motor in it. i also added an electrical fuel pump instead of the mechanical pump. when i start my car she sounds great and i will put it in drive and start down the road she'll run great for about 2 miles then she sounds like its choking and dies. when i try to restart it in nuetral thers times it will run a lil rough and die when it is put in gear or there are times it won't start back up. what are your suggestions 3 Answers
