Need to program my car! Help!

Asked by GuruZTXB3 Oct 20, 2017 at 05:51 PM about the 1997 Chevrolet Camaro RS Coupe RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I need to know what would be best to do for my
1997 chevy camaro RS 3.8. The mechanic at the
shop I go to said that it needs to be programmed
because the guy never did before me after all the
engine work so the computer supposedly is trying
to run the car as if stock. It is bores 30 over, has
power sealed pistons and new crank,
ported/polished/shaved heads, block is decked, its
cammed, has msd coil packs and new plugs and
wires. All new o2 sensors on exhaust and engine.
So my question is what do I buy to upgrade the
vehicle to run normal with the upgrades.

You need to find a "Custom Chip" company for a new chip ... Go on Ebay and enter auto performance chip .... then with their phone number give them a call
