Rear window stuck

Asked by tomzip Oct 05, 2012 at 10:49 AM about the 2006 Jaguar XK-Series XK8 Convertible RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Help! Put the fabtop down, everything sunk into place. Raised the fabtop, operation normal, EXCEPT the passenger rear window is only raising 30-40%. Retried operation, same thing happened.  Is the roof operation the only way to raise & lower these rear windows? Is there anything I can do, to at least raise it up, short of bringing it to a mechanic?  Your guidance & advice will be greatly appreciated!! - Tom Z
