How expensive is it to replace front airbags once deployed?

Assuming an average $500 deductible, I would think a decent insurance company would cover the parts/labor associated with such a repair. How much damage overall did your Volvo sustain??
would recomend you go to a qualified mechanic/dealership as airbags are something you dont play arround with as a mechanic with 22 years on the job have seen some serious incidents some jobs can be carried out on airbags by a competant diyer following common sense guidelines but a compeate replacement is realy a dealership job as the explosive force can maim or even kill
