my wife drove my 1998volvo to the store went in and came back out and now it want start any ideas, it turns over just fine but want start it has no codes

Is the engine spinning really fast ? if so then it could be a broken timing belt. If that's good the I would see what fuel pressure you have !

It seems unlikely that that timing belt would break at the exact same time she turned the engine off, but I guess anything is possible. Obviously it can't break while the engine is off. I would check for fuel. If you remove the small cap on the schrader valve on the fuel rail and press the pin with a screwdriver (cover it with a rag and use eye protection, you don't want gas all over) gas should come out. Let us know what happens.
