i have a 98 venture LS the engine races sticks on very very fast idle very dangerous situation

the engine idle races out of control the cable for the throttle has a little kink is it the cable or that black
plastic cam?

disconnect the throttle cable if it still does it then it is most likely the TPS sensor. Also if the cable has a kink in it then it needs to be changed for safety.
