I own a 2004 S60 T5.  Anyone ever experience drop in fuel amounts to empty and/or significant drop in the fuel gauge while normal driving?

Have not heard of this problem as a widespread issue but it sounds as though your fuel gauge sending unit is going out, or else the fuel gauge itself. The sending unit is located in the tank.
