what shuold i check for possable problem next?

the clutch was dead to floor . i bled the slave cylander , thinking air was in the system.this was after i found niether the master or slave cyls were bad.1993 volvo 850

the throwout fork has a pivot, on the volvo, these clutches are unconventional, think there's a ball pivot...as I recall, but the action of the clutch has some linkages, and I'd bet it was one of these...connection to the gearbox at fault.
