no too high on smog test

My no reading was 699 at 15mph almost 200 over the limit.

My smog guy had me run a full tank of fuel through the car with Lucas fuel injector cleaner. I went from 1251 down to 711, still over the limit but a vast improvement, so he suggested another tank with the additive. And just a FYI, in 2009 when I had to smog the car last the MAX allowable was 700+, where it is now 554, a little ridiculous that the car needs to run 20% cleaner 2 years later.....
if thats hydrocarbons,,then you have a vacuum leak my friend,700+ is what you always see,nobody can use the testers anymore,only the gov. cars used to have taps where you could read before the cats.
