Based on my research and experience, I would agree. It is fairly difficult to put an accurate price on the older 240 series. They are possibly some of the best Volvo models ever built. I am currently thinking of selling my one-owner 1982 240 DL, manual shift with electronic overdrive. 4 wheel disc brakes, rack and pinion steering. Fuel injected. These cars were way ahead of their time. I'm thinking $2999 to list it at. Who knows
