what are there other recall problem with the 2006 nissan sentra 1.8s models?

My service engine soon light came on, Iv'e got no readings from the speedometer or the rpm meter. Also when the car is switching from first to second gear you can really feel the shift shoch.

service engine can mean a lot of things and something is wrong take to dealer and have it scaned could be throuing a code from trans.

I have not heard of any major recalls on the Sentra. It sounds like either your output speed sensor or your vehicle speed sensor are causing trouble. This should still be covered under warranty. Have a dealership diagnose and repair.
