Am not a mechanic but our 2007 did the same thing. Brake light on, battery light on, would not drive. Revved ok in neutral, nothing in D. The first "fix" was an alternator replacement That worked for awhile (a week) and they blamed the alternator whne it did the same thing,,said it was a bad part. That alt was replaced and it happened again. They still blamed the alternator and repaired or replaced it, The car is back now and we have our fingers crossed. So, 3 x at the service dept. The 3rd time they paid to tow it in and drove it back to our house since the source appeared to be or was the same problem. Good luck.
