I'm assuming that the oil cooler youre asking about is the ENGINE oil cooler and not the TRANSMISSION oil cooler but I will touch on both for you. The ENGINE oil cooler is the small cylindrical base that the oil filter screws on to on the front of the engine at the bottom. Removal of the cooler DOES NOT require draining your coolant. Remove your oil filter. Clamp the two rubber hoses connected to the cooler ( coolant hoses ) and disconnect. The stud that your oil filter threaded onto is also the "bolt" that holds your cooler to the engine, remove this stud and remove the cooler ( there is an alignment dowel on the back side if the cooler so it must be pulled straight out and must be aligned when reinstalling ). Remove and replace the oring ( gasket ) and reinstall everything the same way you took it apart. If it is your transmission oil cooler, that requires special tools and you are better off having a radiator shop fix it or, replace the radiator. Your transmission oil cooler is part of your radiator. Hope it is your engine oil cooler as this is a pretty simple repair that can be completed pretty quickly and easily. Hope this helps !
