How do you take off the head on a 98 chevy malibu

It's not a simple job to remove a head if you mean the valve cover that is on the head that is another story. Either way both require taking many parts off all of the hoses need to be marked so the go back right where they were. Go to an auto part store buy a repair manual on your model and year car it will cost you about 30 bucks but it will be worth the investment.
