Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2005 RX-8 with 101,000 miles.  Car has been well maintained.  I am just wondering what
kind of problems I can anticipate considering the year and mileage of this car.  It looks
and handles great now.  I am a bit concerned as I purchased a 2010 Audi A-6 with similar
miles and have put over 9k in repairs in the past year, including a complete engine rebuild.

Do a compresion test at a Mazda dealership or a rotary specific shop... That is the only one you checking... If that turns out ok, number over 760 at 250 rpm with very warm to hot motor. Before you go drive with very high rpms. Dont let it cool and do the compresion test. DONT do it with cold motor. See if coils and sparkplugs are changed and thats about it... No need to tell about bodywork, if the car was in an accident ect...
