Ive owed 13 Miata's none with auto trans, I would get registered on miata.net and see if anyone else has had the same issues. Here is a link to the automatic section of miata.net the whole site is a wealth of knowledge just for miata's. http://forum.miata.net/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=62
