light switch

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1990 Miata...recently the light switch does not open the headlights...
could this be something as simple as replacing the light switch on the steering column

I forgot to add...the light switch works about 30% of the time...so that would make it either the switch or a relay?
