I have a 2006 mazda v6 3.0 engine when driving my oil light comes on upon stopping and flickers periodically while driving.What could be causing this?

Low oil level may be the cause. Check your oil! Another possibility is a bad oil pressure sending unit or a loose connection at the sender.

thats right...also change the oil and filter asap...

low oil amount or the oil is too thin check the sending unit or replace with a oil temperatre gauge
