I'm wanting to install a performance chip, but don't know much about them. Can someone enlighten me on a chip and what would be the best performance chip for a 98 ss camaro 4 speed automatic?

personally would NOT recommend them...for god's sake DAMMIT you're probably the first out from the red light.....really what do you really need from this car?.....spend the money on a good bicycle instead~

Judge Is right. If you want the bigest bang for your buck. Upgread your cam and valve springs. Google "Best LS street cam" you can go miled or barly streetable. Dont wast your money on a chip. Dyno tuning the cam in is the best way. PS chevy tech has a nice article.
