I can't find any evidence that the Camaro rears had posi-traction, but it may be also referred to as a limited-slip differential. This has been pretty standard on most newer cars so in answer to your question, I would say "yes, I believe so." A VIN number of a vehicle you had in mind would allow a dealer to decode the options it came with.

I KNOW IN THE 1998'S YES THEY WERE MINE HAS IT AND IT WASNT ALTERED TO BE THAT WAY JUST SO THOSE OF YOU THINK IT ISNT STOCK IT IS! IT HAD POS REAR WHEN I BOUGHT IT WHICH KIND OF THREW ME OFF THEY DID USUALLY HAVE THEM BUT I'M NOT SURE IF THE OTHER YEARS WEREBUT I HAVE A 1998 AND YES IT WAS
