What's wrong with my lights

My head lights blinks off and on @ I hear a
ticking noise but if I pull the dimmer switch
and hold it they all comes back on on bright

Sounds like you have a bad relay. Locate the clicking noise. Should be a little black box about an inch square. That's what you need to change out.
