Question type: Maintenance & Repair

VW Passat 2.0 Timing Belt Broken and damaged valves.
Before replacing the valves the vehicle perfomed well. What probelms should I
expect if the valves are not done properly?

The car is shaking heavily with rough idling and the sound has changed. It
sounds like a diesel engine.

If the job is not done right you could have serious problems. I take it you had the valves replaced?
