I have a 1.8t 2002 vw passat 4cyl. I am replacing abs module and pump unit. The new part has plug and old one doesn't have one. Can I still use new part without using that plug in spot?

Oh how fun, an ABS module in a passat. What kind of plug are you referring to? Also what are the part numbers? You need some kind of VAGCOM software to match the abs module to the car.
