Oil pan

I have a 2001 Volkswagen Passat that's an automatic and I also have a 2000 Volkswagen
Passat that's manual I was wondering if the oil pans are interchangeable

the pans i think are different due to the tranys. the may go on but a new pan is preaty cheap any ways and you will need a gasket regardles which a new one should come with.
