What if I do not have access to VW
transmission fluid ?What do I use?

Look in the owner's manual if you have it. It will tell you the type to use - not a brand, a standard. Then go to a store and buy a fluid that matches that standard on its label. If you don't have the owner's manual, do an internet search for it and identify in your search the year/make/model as well at the transmission type.
