My beetle could not startup easily after rain. What is wrong with it?

When a Beetle/Golf/Jetta of this vintage won't start easily when wet or damp weather, the ignition coil and ignition wires should be checked.

2003 beetle won't start after rain there was water dripping inside the relay box after i dried it up hair dryer its seems to start again it started yesterday to no start again but main problem does not start after rain
