Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Im getting 9 codes related to the 2001 VW
beetles 2.0 automatic transmission. Its
almost like there is no signal from any of the
shift solenoids A through E . Im also getting
codes for input and output speed sensors.
Shift timing solenoid . And Pressure control
sensor.

Does anyone think this could be related to the Transmission Control Unit being bad? I dont want to starr replacing individual parts if i can solve these problems by replacing the TCU.
