Dear carlamcmanama-- The answer is you don't. You wouldn't want any old schmuk programing his spare remote and then driving off in your 1999 Volkswagen Beetle, would you? This is a job for the dealer. It doesn't take long and doesn't cost much. Just bring proof of ownership with you when you pay that dealer a visit. Good luck from Bovan.
