Is it possible to install a remote starter on 05 jetta tdi cause im not sure if there is a way to activate the glowplugs without the key

i would imagine you could. All a remote system does is bypasses the ignition system. The key itself doesn't ignite the glow plugs, it just tells something else to do so. I would check with a good shop in the area that installs.

any diesel engine can have a starter installed, just a different system than the gas ones. The diesel starters have a delay that will allow the glow plugs to warm before iots started.
