You interchange a fuel pump from a 2001 Chevy Tahoe to a 1999 Chevy Tahoe

Asked by btTHCChevyGirl1993 Jul 03, 2020 at 06:28 PM about the 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe LS 4-Door RWD

Question type: Car Customization

I have a newer 2001 Chevy Tahoe 4wd and i was thinking it
would be inexpensive to just swap one fuel pump to the the
other!? The truck that needs a fuel pump is a 1999 Chevy
Tahoe LS I believe!! Ive already checked the gas tank, oil
and replaced the battery/connections/posts and the fuel
filter but the '99 Tahoe just wont start and it wants to turn
over but it won't!! Like it sounds like it will start but it's not
happenin!!

Look up both parts on a website that sells parts. If they are the same you can swap them.
