Wont keep fuel pessure

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 99 chevy tahoe 350 vortec has a new fuel pump  
and fuel filter but wont keep fuel pressure at the rail. I have
a new fuel injector pressure regulator I'm gona install
tomorrow  anyone have any other ideas y it wont keep
pressure at the fuel rail

The regulator would have been my first guess, I would have tested that before swapping out a fuel pump.

Car has been sitting for a year pump was replaced before I bought it but I did the work on it
