2004 Jetta overheating

My jetta started overheating the other day. It has coolant.
No leaks. Put in new temp sensor, new fans,  and
thermostat. Problem seems to be that the water isn't
circulating. But dont know what it could be. Water pump is
supposed to be good but at this point I dont even know
what's working and what is faulty.

I've heard of the plastic blades on the water pump impeller simply crumbling away. The pump shaft is turning but it can't circulate the coolant without blades. The pump isn't easy to get to on this engine but that's what I would check.

I'm having same issues with my 2004 Jetta and it's on it's third engine...I doubt I got 5,000 miles since the new engine but i'd get overheat notices with no apparent leaks, now it's been sitting for like 18 months. IDK what to do
