Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 04 1.8t vw jetta. I love this car. It's
manual transmission and back in may I
broke the timing belt and bent five valves
due to it. $1200 later New belt valves water
pump and tensioner I'm sucking in major oil
in the turbo occasionally turning the car into
a mosquito fogger. That's the first issue.
Second I'm now throwing a code something
about a cam advanced timing issue. Help
please. What's this mean. How do I start
trying to fix it without getting too expensive
as I have four kids 15 and under

Turbocharger seals, have the turbo rebuilt. p0011? VCT is this the code usually caused by oil starvation (Turbo drawing oil) due to a partially clogged oil pick up tube this common on 1.8 turbo and will interfere with the oil pressure. The cam timing is controlled by a solenoid that depends on oil pressure.

with the kids, you have already spent enough on this thing- time to get another car, cut your losses- and forget the whole "turbo" thing-

My car is 2004 Volkswagen Jetta gli 1.8t automatic transmission I recently had the timing belt replaced along with the brackets the auto techs had to redo it due to no fully making sure that everything was ok so now I’ve been driving it and when I accelerate at points when I first begin to drive it my don’t rpms kick back when I get to a certain mileage and the rpms keep goin up like it’s trying to shift gears it also now has antifreeze leaking from the right side of the undercarage I already replaced multiple items in the car such as the fuel pump and water pumps but an answer to this problem would be appreciated
