If you are hoping that "rarity" means exclusivity, I think you may be in for a disappointment. The Wolfsburg Editions of that era were a popular option and a very nice trim level that was produced, undoubtedly, in the thousands. Concentrate your evaluation of value on the overall condition of the vehicle and the care applied by the previous owners.
