my car kinda feels like I'm running out of gas for a split second as I'm driving it only happens when I'm driving at a steady paise but is fine if I give it a little gas any ideas?

Is there a flashing Check Engine Light on the instrument cluster as this happens? Or any CEL for that matter? If so it indicates a misfire. Ignition wires are a common culprit on the VR6.
