Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Was driving yesterday when my abs light came on along with anti slip regulation light. Pulled over and opened hood. While looking at engine a very loud screeching noise came on. Engine was not on. Noise stopped and when i turned car back on, the lights were off. Got home and checked fluid levels and coolant level low. Put in coolant and next morning when i started car, my temp light went on. Opened hood and all coolant had leaked out. How do i find out where leak is, and does that screeching noise have something to do with it?

It seam to me u had a air lock in the coolant system. Here are the steps to get the air lock out. 1, fill coolant in radiator (when engine is cold) 2, leave cap off after filling the coolant. 3, start engine. 4, When the engine starts to warm up u will see bubbles and air coming out. u will notice the coolant has dropped. fill with more coolant . continue to fill until air is out. turn off engine and put the cap back on. BE CAREFUL IT WILL BE HOT. U can use youtube and see video how to do this.
