Car problems

Question type: General

I have a 2001 jetta that blew the plate light fuse. I
replaced it but it keeps blowing out. Now it caused
a chain reaction with the electronics. If I have my
head lights on and turn the car off and take out the
key it stays on, but when I turn off my lights the car
shuts off... Plus my dash lights, and the lights
under the switches stay on. My trunk won't pop
open with the key or the trunk switch. Have to open
it threw the back seat. Please help don't know wat
to do.....

Time to pay for a repair, unless you know electronics and have a multimeter. Save yourself a lot of time and headache, pay $100 and have the circuit repaired. Regards

Thank you. That helps a lot cause Lord knows I don't know much about electronics, especially for the car... At lease I know more or less what it is and what it will cost my pocket
