Emissions light comes on everytime, and the code is for # 3 cylinder misfire, on top of 2 other codes. don't know where to start.

she runs rough, has since i bought it. emissions workshoplight is always on to remind me. finally have some time to look at it but not sure where to start. #3 cylinder misfire, but it could be a # of things. the exhaust is crap also, you can hear the spuddering through the tail pipe when accelerating, and you can defiitley tell she doesn't run right. please help!

Take the spark plug out of the #3 cylinder and compare it to a spark plug reading guide. That should give you some idea of what is wrong.
