not charging after i replaced the cooling fans

Maybe the cooling fans you replaced need to be replaced. I too had to replace two new fans in my 2003 jetta right after I left the mechanic shop. Turned out to be a defective fan. Also one of the fan motors runs both fans. Hope this helps
