Cannot get into the car - battery completely dead!

Asked by Neeraj Aug 18, 2010 at 11:04 PM about the 2000 Volkswagen Jetta GLS

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My VW Jetta has been sitting for 3 weeks and the battery is completely dead. I cannot
even get into the car and open the hood. Any idea (other than towing it to a dealer)
what can be done to get the car started?

Thanks

Call your nearest VW dealer and ask them. They should give you an answer, especially if you bought from them. I don't have another answer for you.

Can you get in the trunk? Call AAA? They will get in the car for you..
