Take to shop and have the mechanic take a look under your Jetta. Could be a small hole or crack where water is seeping in. Your trunk is on the front, right? Check the storage area by lifting the floor covering up and you may see holes or cracks in the wheel storage area that may cause water to flow to the back. That is, if the vehicle is parked with back of car lower than the front. Check for loose areas around the rear windows. Any noticeable changes when you go to the car wash? Hope this helps, coming from an old non-mechanic lady!

It happen did my Jetta too. I cleaned out the "gutter" around the trunk. Vacuumed up all the water under the carpet. Then let it dry for a few days It hasn't returned, yet!
