Question type: Maintenance & Repair

on my 1997 volkswagen jetta there is a flashing light on my dashboard and that
flashing light is in the shape of an oil shape. it turns on then goes off for a while then
comes back on. im curious as to what could be wrong with it. i just did a new oil
change i put the recommended amount of oil in it and when i saw the flashing light i
thought maybe it needed more motor oil so i added a little bit more but this flashing
light is really throwing me off and im wondering what could be wrong ?
