The doors on my 1997 jetta will not lock

Are these power locks that are non-functional? If so, suspect a fuse, or perhaps a lock actuator problem or other wiring issue. Is it all of the doors, or just one or two? Switches can also be an issue here. If it is not locking from the keyless remote, you may have a bad battery or broken wires in the keyless entry fob.

my car locks then instantly unlocks wen i use key fob

Door lock clicks when driving and driver door will not lock at all even with remote control. It pops back to open.
